Hemp Weaving Program
Within the scope of the program:
• Theoretical courses are offered in weaving history, technical knowledge of traditional and modern hand looms, fabric weaving techniques, hemp-yarn weaving techniques, pattern design, textile materials, and dyeing technologies.
• Practical training is provided in technical knowledge of traditional and modern hand looms, fabric weaving techniques, hemp-yarn weaving, design and pattern development, computer-aided design, textile materials, and dyeing technologies.
Students gain sectoral experience through a compulsory 30-day internship program, allowing them to directly observe and participate in textile production processes in workshop and factory environments.

• Technical proficiency in fabric pattern design, weaving techniques, and natural dyeing • Entrepreneurship skills and the ability to manage production processes • Capacity to develop innovative and sustainable projects in textile and weaving arts
Career Opportunities
Graduates of the program earn the title “Fabric Weaving Technician” and can work in:
• Public institutions (Public Education Centers, municipalities, cultural centers) • Private sector workshops and factories • Art and design projects
Additionally, graduates may work in positions such as pattern designer, quality control specialist, and master instructor. They can also establish their own workshops and work as independent entrepreneurs.
