About Us
Ondokuz Mayıs University Ladik Vocational School is an educational institution that believes in the importance of vocational and technical education and aims to develop students’ knowledge and skills through a contemporary, practice-oriented educational approach supported by qualified academics. Since its establishment, our school has endeavored to train graduates who are well-prepared for professional life. Located in a campus surrounded by nature, with 288,836.57 m² of open space and 5,800.00 m² of indoor facilities, our school continues to offer a wide range of educational opportunities.
Under the Department of Crop and Animal Production, we offer programs in Beekeeping, Dairy and Beef Cattle Production, Poultry Farming, and Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, aiming to train specialists in agriculture and animal husbandry. Our Handicrafts Department preserves traditional values and seeks to pass on cultural heritage to future generations through the Carpet and Rug Weaving program. In addition, the Hemp Weaving program within the Department of Textile, Clothing, Footwear and Leather contributes to sustainable textile production.
With its modern infrastructure and expert staff, our Vocational School provides a comprehensive educational environment where students can enhance their knowledge and skills and prepare for their professional careers.
What Have Our Students Achieved Thanks to Our Facilities?
Our Vocational School features an amphitheater, computer laboratory, analysis laboratory, weaving workshops, design studios, classrooms, a multipurpose hall, and a library. These facilities enable us to train qualified and well-equipped individuals.
What Job Opportunities Do Our Programs Offer?
Upon graduation, our students can work in beekeeping farms, honey processing facilities, small and large-scale livestock enterprises, relevant public institutions as technicians, animal farms, zoos, feed factories, carpet weaving factories, textile dyeing and weaving workshops, public institutions as instructors, textile factories, hemp-based weaving facilities, or establish their own businesses depending on their field of expertise.
What International Exchange Programs Do We Offer Our Students?
Our Vocational School supports Erasmus, Farabi, and Mevlana student exchange programs, providing students with the opportunity to study in partner countries and institutions of our university. These exchange programs offer valuable opportunities to improve language skills and experience international education.
